AAdvantage Members Enjoy VIP Treatment With a Free Uber Ride, Bonus Miles and Added Convenience!

In February, American Airlines formed a partnership with Uber! This new partnership bestows the VIP treatment all around!
On March 1, 2016, AAdvantage Executive Platinum members will receive a special code to use with Uber for a free ride (up to $25). This free ride is for both new and existing Uber customers. And if you aren’t yet an Uber customer and don’t have Executive Platinum status with AAdvantage, you can also enjoy a free ride of up to $20. Simply sign up with Uber and enter promo code RIDEAA for $20 off your first ride.
Also, those with the AAdvantage Aviator MasterCard enjoy two AAdvantage miles for each dollar spent with Uber and charged to the card from February 7 through July 31, 2016. These AAdvantage bonus miles will accrue and will be credited in August.
And last but not least, all AAdvantage members have access to Uber’s Ride Reminder to schedule an Uber pick up. After booking your flight on aa.com, American will send you an e-ticket confirmation via email with a “Remind me to Uber” icon to schedule a ride. The Uber reminder service is currently available at these 11 airports:

Los Angeles (LAX)
