This bonus offer is a bit challenging to complete as Tribute currently only has two open hotels - the Royal Palm South Beach Miami, Florida, and the Great Northern Hotel, London, England. In November the Riviera Palm Springs in California is expected to open and the Kiroro in Hokkaido, Japan, before year-end.
A stay of one or more consecutive nights, regardless of the number of check-ins or checkouts, is eligible for this bonus promotion as long as an eligible rate is paid, which are most rates that earn Starpoints.
Starwood expects to expand quickly and plans to have 100 Tribute hotels by 2020. The Tribute collection is Starwood’s 10th hotel brand and the first new brand Starwood has launched in nine years!
Tribute is similar to Marriott’s Autograph Collection and Hilton’s Curio hotels. It is considered a soft brand. These hotels generally keep their names but get access to the marketing and distribution network of the hotel giants and participate in the loyalty rewards programs.
