Hainan flies to more than 90 cities on four continents including nonstop service between China and Boston, Chicago, Seattle and San Jose. Alaska Airlines provides services to all four of these US cities and the Alaska Airlines hub in Seattle offers direct Hainan flights between Seattle and both Beijing and Shanghai. This provides a great opportunity for those Mileage Plan members across the US en route to China.
If you book before January 31 for travel through June 30, 2016, you’ll save $50 on Economy Class flights and $300 for Business Class:
The discounted round-trip flights must originate in the US and travel onward to China
To receive the $50 discount you must fly in economy classes - Y, B, H, K, L, M, X, V, N, U, W, E or Q
To enjoy the $300 discount you must fly business classes C, D, I or R
The promotion only applies to flights serviced by Alaska Airlines and Hainan Airlines
With this partnership Alaska Airline Mileage Plan members now earn Elite qualifying award miles on qualifying Hainan flights! You will earn 100% Elite qualifying miles plus bonus miles for most classes of service with Hainan. Only Hainan flights in Q, X, W, U, or V classes of service earn half the actual miles flown.
While members cannot redeem miles for Hainan award flights or enjoy Elite reciprocal benefits on Hainan Airlines flights yet, those benefits are expected in early 2016!
