Marriott’s MegaBonus promotion runs through January 15, 2017, and allows members to choose between earning 5,000 bonus points after two stays or 10,000 bonus points after every 10 nights completed during the promotional period and after registration for up to 50,000 bonus points. So register today!

In order to participate, you’ll need to register before your first eligible stay and registration closes December 15, 2016.

Strings attached? Sure there are. Here are the important ones:

• An eligible stay encompasses all consecutive nights at the same hotel regardless of check-in/check-out activity

• Nights spent while redeeming an award and Marriott Vacation Club owner-occupied weeks are not eligible for MegaBonus promotional credit

• Only one room per hotel is counted toward a member’s nights or stays

• Members electing to earn miles are not eligible for this promotion

• Rooms booked through most third party online retailers and select travel agency bookings are not eligible to receive any Marriott Rewards points or the free night
