Marriott has come up with an amazing sweepstakes with a doozy of a prize – free travel for life! And by free travel for life they actually mean 3.75 million Marriott Rewards Points. Yes, 3.75 million!

At trvlvip we value Marriott Rewards Points at 0.7 cents, which means this prize is worth a whopping $26,250! Think of all you could do with those points!

Now that we have your attention, let’s get down to business. Entering is easy, all you need to do is download Marriott’s Mobile App and use it! Download the app, sign in to your Marriott account and use the app to book a stay, check-in or make a request (or all three). 

You may also enter without making a purchase, but more on that later. The promotional period is March 1 through May 31, 2017, and the grand prize drawing is June 30, 2017.

You must be a member of Marriott Rewards to participate. If you are not already a member we encourage you to sign up -  it’s free. US residents will automatically earn entries. Non-US residents must click here and complete the form at the bottom of the page to begin earning entries.

Minor strings attached? Sure there are. Here are the important ones:

• Marriott defines ‘life’ as five nights a year for 30 years at a Category 5 hotel, but you are not required to spend the points that way - you could use them all in one year if you wanted.

• Legal residents of the United States, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, the United States Virgin Islands, Canada, France, Germany, Mexico, the Netherlands, South Africa and the United Kingdom are eligible so long as they are of legal age in their country of residence.

• For entries earned making a reservation: Only 1 entry per reservation, regardless of the number of rooms or nights; you may earn a maximum of 20 entries this way

• For entries earned by checking in: Reservations must be made directly with Marriott, not a third party like Orbitz or Expedia; only 1 entry per check-in, regardless of the number of rooms or nights; you may earn a maximum of 20 entries this way

• For entries made through requests: Requests may not be made on Windows phones; only 1 entry will be gained for each request and a maximum of 20 may be earned this way

• To enter without purchase:

• For residents of the US including Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands: Hand print your name, address, day and evening phone numbers, email address, Rewards Account number and date of birth on a 3" x 5" paper and mail it in an envelope with sufficient postage to “Marriott Mobile App Travel For Life,” c/o HelloWorld, Inc., P.O. Box 5029, Department 829846, Kalamazoo, MI 49003-5029; all mail-in entries must be postmarked by May 31 and received by June 7, 2017; 1 mail-in entry request per envelope

• For all other eligible participants: During the promotion period, send an email to MarriottMobileAppSweeps@HelloWorldfulfillment.com and include your name, residential address, Rewards number and date of birth

• All mail and email requests will receive 3 entries into the prize draw and you may send in up to 20 requests

An individual may enter to win up to 60 times during the promotional period. Redemption, expiration and use of the grand prize are subject to Marriott’s terms and conditions.

If the winner is a resident of the US, he or she will also receive a $10,000 check to help with associated taxes. If the winner is not a resident of the US,the prize will be increased by 30% and the winner will receive a 1042 tax form for the increased prize. 

The Wrap-Up:

With this prize you could stay in a Category 5 hotel every year until 2047, or you could use them all at once and stay in luxury as you travel the world for 150 nights!
