Marriott wants to help sweeten your summer with an amazing sweepstakes and opportunities to earn bonus points! 100 grand prize winners will receive 100,000 bonus points! And participants can earn up to 10,000 additional bonus points for their stays during the promotional period.
You must be a Marriott Rewards member to participate. Go ahead and sign up if you haven’t already - it’s FREE! Once you are member, you must register by September 5, 2016, to participate in the promotion and sweepstakes. You can call guest services or register online.
A lot is going on with this promotion, but don’t worry, we’ll break it down for you.
Bonus Points:
Stay at participating Marriott properties between May 24 and September 5, 2016, and you will receive 2,000 bonus points for every paid stay starting with your second stay. Each participant can earn a maximum of 10,000 bonus points, which is amassed after six stays.
We value Marriott Rewards points at .7 cents per point. Considering that, the 2,000 points you will earn with each eligible stay during this promotion are worth $14 and the maximum 10,000 points are worth $70.
Each stay during this promotional period will earn you one additional entry into the sweepstakes.
Marriott Rewards Sweet Summer Sweeps:
As we have already mentioned, 100 winners will be randomly chosen and will receive 100,000 bonus points - worth $700!
By registering for the promotion you are automatically entered into the sweepstakes, no purchase necessary! You will also receive an additional entry for each eligible stay during the promotional period, May 24 through September 5, 2016.
You can also attain additional entries without staying at a Marriott hotel. It will just cost you an envelope and a stamp. Once you have registered for the promotion, simply hand print your name, Marriott Rewards number, address, country, phone number, date of birth and email on a 3”x5” paper. Put it in an envelope, slap a stamp on it and mail to: Marriott Rewards Global Summer Sweepstakes, P.O. Box 7650, Melville, NY 11775-7650 USA. It must be written by hand, postmarked by September 5 and received by September 16. Once received you will get one additional entry into the sweepstakes.
Each participant may enter the sweepstakes once per day during the promotional period, and can enter up to 104 times. If you mail in your entry once a day for the entire promotional period you will be entered the maximum amount of times without making a purchase!
Around September 22, 100 grand prize winners will be selected and notified by email. They will be required to return a form within three days, so be sure to watch your inbox around September 22!
Residents of the US, Canada (excluding Quebec) and the United Kingdom are eligible to participate. Employees of any company affiliated with this promotion and their household members are not eligible. Bonus award points and the grand prizes may not be transferred or redeemed for cash.
The Wrap-Up:
The 2,000 award points you will get for eligible stays are for the stay, not the nights. So this promotion favors those who are planning shorter stays at participating properties.
