2,000 bonus points are worth about $14 and 4,000 points are worth about $28 at .7 cents per point. If the price difference between the Bonus Points Package rate and a more economical rate is more than $14 for 2,000 points or $28 for 4,000 points, we suggest you forgo the points and book a lower rate because you don’t want to pay a rate difference that is more than the points are worth!
While we all know IHG’s Perks and promotions are wonderful, we always suggest you review all of the rates at your desired hotel.
