IHG Rewards Club’s newest “targeted” Accelerate Promotion offers free nights for new members or at least 50,000 bonus points for existing members for stays completed from September 1 through December 31, 2015!

As with most of the IHG Rewards Club global promotions, members will receive offers based on their stay history and Elite status.
With Accelerate, new members enjoy one free night after two eligible stays and a second free night after an additional two eligible stays for a maximum of two free nights awarded with this promotion. AND these FREE nights can be used at any IHG hotel, even the most luxurious!
All other members will have chance to earn at least 50,000 bonus points for each of the completed goals IHG establishes for that members.

A stay is defined as one night or consecutive nights at the same hotel, regardless of check-in/out activity
A stay is eligible for this promotion when a member pays a qualifying rate, which includes most business and leisure rates booked directly with IHG
Stays at a Kimpton Hotel, net wholesale individual and group rates, certain discount and package rates, IHG Rewards Club Reward Nights and most rates booked through third party web sites are not eligible for this promotion
Only one room per member per eligible stay will be awarded the applicable bonus points
Allow up to 2 to 3 weeks after checkout for Accelerate Promotion bonus points to be credited to the member’s account
The Wrap-Up:
The number of stays required to earn the most points is aggressive. But many of the other goals should be pretty easy to achieve with a few stays. New members are the biggest winners with Accelerate, enjoying up to two free nights for completing only four eligible stays. And redeeming those free nights at one of the most luxurious IHG hotels is the real win!
