Hyatt’s Pacific Holiday promotional rate is not well-publicized. In fact, we’ve only seen it on a Chinese version of the Hyatt website! All of the Hyatt hotels in Australia are participating - and we’ve checked weekend and midweek dates - and it’s quite a deal! The special Pacific Holiday rate was the same or lower (in some cases significantly lower) than the Hyatt Daily Rate, and yet it includes a $100 food and beverage voucher to use within the hotel, and has a flexible cancellation policy!
You must stay at least two nights and the Pacific Holiday rate will only show when the rate is available. There is no offer page for this one. When you book online, click the "special rates" drop down menu and add Special Offer Code AUS100 before you search dates and cities within Australia.
Our Advice:
This is a fantastic rate, especially if you do not qualify for the advanced purchase rate (which is pre-pay with no cancellations or changes allowed) or desire a more flexible cancellation policy. If you qualify for the advanced purchase rate, the Pacific Holiday rate is still a good deal for two to three night stays, as long as you plan to spend $100 at the hotel on food and drinks.
Consider the advance purchase rate if it results in savings of more than $100 over the Pacific Holiday rate and your plans are firm.And we suggest you perform a quick review to make sure there aren’t any other discounted or package rates that are a better fit for your needs.
