Introduction Image for: AMERICAN PREMIUM BOOST

Hey Big Spender, This One Is for You! Earn up to 3 EQPs per Mile!

Expiration Date – December 31, 2015

Earn up to three elite-qualifying points (EQPs) for each mile flown!

Throughout 2015, earn up to twice as many AAdvantage EQPs when you purchase and fly on a First or Business Class ticket:

  • For flights booked in premium fare class J or F you will earn 1.5 additional EQPs for a total of 3 EQPs for each mile flown

  • For discounted flights booked in premium fare class R, D, A, I or P you will earn an additional .5 EQP for a total of 2 EQPs for each mile flown

You don’t need to register for this offer - if you've completed a qualifying flight since April 7, 2015, the bonus points should already be in your account!

Here are some of the qualifying conditions for this offer:

  • You must be an AAdvantage member and purchase a published fare in premium fare classes F, A, P, J, R, D or I on flights marketed and operated by American Airlines or US Airways; or flights sold with an American Airlines or US Airways flight number but operated by British Airways, Iberia, Finnair, Qantas or Japan Airlines; flights marketed or operated by other codeshare partners are not eligible for this promotion

And while you’re earning more EQPs for flying in First or Business Class, check out our great Perk on how you will ALSO earn 12,000 additional award miles in 2015! Enjoy the luxury of First or Business Class and enjoy some extra award miles and points while you are at it!

A reminder about elite-qualifying miles/segments (EQMs/EQSs) and EQPs:

EQMs and EQSs are the actual miles (including applicable minimum mileage guarantees) or segments flown on eligible purchased tickets on American or partner airlines, and you must fly at least four segments on American Airlines or US Airways to qualify for elite status. Bonus or purchased miles do not count toward EQMs.

The number of EQPs you earn is based on a combination of earned miles and the class of service purchased. For American Airlines marketed codeshare flights, your ticket must reflect an American Airlines coded flight number.

EQMs, EQSs and EQPs all help toward achieving elite AAdvantage status!

The Wrap-Up:

Having a little help toward achieving Elite status is always welcome and a EQP boost does just that!
