
Are You a LinkedIn Member? Want a Faster way to American Airlines AAdvantage Elite Status?

ACT FAST! A new fast track to AAdvantage Elite offer from American Airlines has been circulating. The offer grants members of LinkedIn a chance to enjoy a faster way to AAdvantage Executive Platinum, Platinum and Gold Elite status with very achievable goals! You must register before September 14, 2015, no offer landing page exists as it is invitation only.
It appears this promotion is “targeted” to certain LinkedIn members who do not currently hold any level of Elite status with AAdvantage. If you are a LinkedIn members be sure to check your email for the invite.
This fast track offer is based on Elite Qualifying Points (EQP), which are measured by fare class and range from 0.5 EQPs (for certain discounted economy fare classes) to 1.5 EQPs (for full fare, Business and First Class) for each mile flown. Flights on American Airlines, British Airways, Finnair, Iberia, Japan Airlines, Qantas and US Airways between September 14 and December 23, 2015 will qualify and any Elite status level achieved will continue through February 28, 2017!
Here are the requirements:
Executive Platinum: 25,000 EPQs (the normal requirement is 100,000)
Platinum: 9,000 EPQs (the normal requirement is 50,000)
Gold: 5,000 EPQs (the normal requirement is 25,000)
If you did not receive an invitation, are a LinkedIn member, do not have any level of AAdvantage Elite status and would like to participate, we suggest you place a call to American to inquire about enrollment.
If you are unable to enroll, ask about this alternative offer with all of the same terms as the LinkedIn offer but with slightly more aggressive EQP requirements:
