American Airlines’s Flying Kind giveaway is easy and no purchase is necessary. Simply share a travel tip in one of the forums from August 24 through October 11, 2016, and 250 bonus miles will be donated to your choice of one of seven charities! And you will entered for a chance to win 250,000 bonus miles! The charity the lucky winner selected will also receive an additional 250,000 bonus miles.

Ok, here’s how it breaks down. You have three ways you can enter:
Post a travel tip no more than 350 characters long to one of the forums.
Comment on an existing post in one of the forums.
Like five existing posts or comments in one of the forums.
After you do one of the steps above you will be prompted to register for the 250,000 bonus mile sweepstakes.
Strings attached? Sure there are. Here are the important ones:
- You must be a legal resident of the 50 US states or Washington DC and at least 18 years old to participate (19 in Nebraska and Alabama). You also must be an AAdvantage member to participate, which is free
- Each charity will get a guaranteed minimum of 250,000 bonus miles (worth $5,000) and a maximum of 125,000,000 bonus miles (worth $2,500,000)
- The grand prize drawing will be around October 25 and the winner will be notified via email around November 1, 2016
- Any content submitted to the forums can be used by American Airlines in the future
