Loyalty has it perks! Alaska Visa Signature non-business cardholders enjoy their first checked bag free on any Alaska Airlines flight! And up to six passengers traveling with a cardholder on the same reservation will be rewarded with a free checked bag as well!
This offer applies to all flights marketed by Alaska Airlines and operated by Alaska Airlines, Horizon Air, SkyWest or PenAir. And payment with the Alaska Airlines Visa Signature credit card is not required to qualify for this benefit.

We wouldn’t normally suggest a credit card simply to receive a free checked bag - but we like the Alaska Airlines Signature card for all of the great perks including at least 25,000 Mileage Plan miles upon approval as well as the annual companion pass. So, if you have one, take advantage of this great benefit anytime you’re riding Alaska.
